Golf For Golfers

"Hi, I'm Doug Sanders. In 1978 , I started a junior golf event to give back to the game that has given me so much. The Event started with 3 finalists selected from Europe, Australia, and the United States meeting for a 72 hole playoff in Aberdeen, Scotland."
Over the years, the International Junior Golf Championship grew to include many players from each of the six continents: Australia, Asia, North America, South America, Europe and Africa. Young men were given the opportunities in a world event for the first time. Players such as Stephen Elkington, Daniel Chopra, Andy McGee, Adam Scott and Billy Mayfair have been winners of my event. In all, we have had winners from 10 different countries and contestants from 80 countries.
Proceeds from this event will fund the 2008 International Junior Golf Championship Tournament. We are extending an invitation for you to sponsor or play in this tournament to benefit young golfers internationally.
 
Format

The Doug Sanders Classic golf tournament is played as a four-person scramble.

Entertainment

Immediately following the golf tournament we will proceed to the Grand Ballroom for a fabulous dinner followed by the awards presentation. The event will be hosted by: Peter Marshall
